How media attract their target audience

Something Special:
This show target their audience by using bright colours to stimulate to children. This show will be used for entertainment because the children will like how Mr.Tumble acts, but this is also educational because Mr. Tumble teaches children sign language so it will be used to inform the children about different sing language and different disabled children.
This show is on at set times which is before nursery/primary school and early morning this is because young children which this show is targeting will watch up earlier and go to sleep early as well so this show is on when their target audience can watch it.
textual analysis:

Beauty and the beast:
This show targets an audience between 15 to 50 because this show has everything in it. This show will also target men because there is a lot of action throughout the series. This show will have a good female audience because they romance in the show and also because the leading man is quite attractive and the woman audience will want to watch this show for him.
This show is on at 9 at night on Watch channel this is because it is quite violent and dark, this is also because this show's target audience will be home from work and ready to relax.

FHM magazine:
This magazine is mainly for the male audience because of how the front cover is presented. There could be a bigger audience to do with sexuality, for example a women might found the women on the front cover quite attractive so they buy the magazine. But the women on the front is always sexualised and objectified this is shown through her mise en scene of what she is wearing which is mainly a bra or something similar and short bottoms, and also through her body language which is mainly a seductive manor. They always have good eye contact with the audience but they always have 'come to bed' eyes which the men all like. Also they always have subjects the men will like which is mainly about sex and weight.

Women's health Magazine:

How to improve...

The audience question:

British audience because she is from a British show 'The inbetweeners'
sexuality, some woman might find her attractive and buy the magazine
need to develop what i said about the socio-economic scale

Be specific to a text

I need more depth and

Representation question:

I need to have more case studies to back up my points and I need to be specific to the case study and the person in the text

Women are sexualised in the media for example Ke$ha's music video 'Dirty Love' where the mise en scene of what she is wearing shows that....

Revision and study:

I need to start making more case studies for different representation
I need to read over my notes I made in lesson every weekend.

Coursework:

I need to write different connotations of things, for example the colours used on the GQ magazine have connotations such as the gold has connotations of luxury and wealth. the read and blues used have connotations of spider man which is the film which the actor stars in and also they tie into the man's suit.

in FHM magazine the miss en scene of what she is wearing shows that she is being sexualised. Also her body language shows that she is being objectified.
