Reception theory
The oppositional reading is someone who is quite old like in the 80's and older who don't understand what is going on with everyone and thing on this website and also quite young children who doesn't really know what is being said or written.
The negotiated reading would be middle aged people who might know about the things that are going on in the shows but wouldn't really go on the website. Also people who are higher up the socio-economic scale because they don't like the way the people in the shows act.
The preferred reading of Leica.co.uk is people who are really interested in photography and like the more vintage cameras. I would say that this website is suitable for both genders because

This is a bed representation of young males in the media. This article is about how a mother came home to find her 19 year old son passed out with sick all done him after taking part in an olnline drinking game.
The news paper stated ' Keiren, 19, a student from Prestonpans, East Lothian, had accepted a dare to film himself downing a deadly mixture of vodka, whisky, Southern Comfort, Bacardi and sherry.
Nikki at first feared he might be dead or dying and placed him in the recovery position.'
She later put the picture on Facebook to show other people what students are getting up to and also to humiliate her son.
This shows a bad representation through the picture being displayed of the boy on his sofa passed out and looking rather ill with sick all down him.
The language used is to shock the reader about what had happened to this family. The use of words like 'Deadly' and 'horrified' exaggerate the seriousness of this topic.
